The trust was formed as a glowing tribute to the eternal memory of the late B. Saraswathy Amma a teacher par excellence. Saraswathy Educational Trust envisages promotion of education, research, extension activities and to provide quality Medical Assistance to the needy.

Saraswathy College of Nursing - Thiruvananthapuram is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council and affiliated to the University of Kerala . Started in the year 2007-2008, the college is attached to the Saraswathy Hospital , a Multy Specialty 300 bedded hospital, Diabetic Research Centre and Laparoscopic Centre that provides clinical experience to students. The students are provided with theoretical instructions, integrated with clinical experience as per the requirement by the University. A dedicated team of Doctors and health care professionals are providing quality healthcare in a homely environment.
