Government Law Collegewas part of R.R. College, Alwarwhere Law classes were started in 1970. And then it was established in 2005-2006 after its separation from Babu Shobha Ram Govt. Arts College which is accredited by NAAC with B+ grade.
Faculty of the institution consists of one head as principal with 7 full time Lecturers and 2 Part time Lecturers with different specializations.The college also has one National Service Scheme (NSS) unit to participate in various social workshops and camps.
It is a well-recognized law college of eastern Rajasthan. It has been granted Deemed approval by “Bar council of India” (BCI) for its L.L.B. course since 1979. College is also recognized by the Government of Rajasthan which is very helpful for employment opportunities. The admissions to the courses are done on the basis of merit. The application forms for admission are available at the college administrative building on all working days.
College provides all the facilities and infrastructure for its students to perform best in various real time situations. College has a well-stocked library with thousands of law books, conference room for various meeting and seminars held in college, spacious classroom, canteen to sit and eat in break time and hostel facilities for the students from outstation area. College also provides facilities for indoor and outdoor games as a part of extra-curricular activities.

Professional and competent advocates are in great demand to meet the requirement. College is working hard to instill legal awareness in citizens of society and bringing the awareness of rights and obligations closer to the needy and the deserving people. College imparts legal education in a different and practical way in which students are familiarized with the legal issues confronting the people and the real cases which they have to interpret and analyze. Students after completing the course from R.R. College can work as legal advisor in any private or government organization.
