Overview
Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine & Allied Sciences is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. IRMAS aims at providing its students with highest quality of study and research, for academic excellence, and for the quality of the students. The college offers Bachelor’s, Diploma and Master’s courses in physiotherapy and other clinical departments. The college’s main objective is to provide effective, value based and ethical education and make the students to become better citizens of our nation. It also helps students to achieve success in their life by helping the students procure good education to get into top hospitals and clinical services.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates’ applying should have passed the pre-university examination any other equivalent exam by a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their main subjects.
Students’ who have not less than 50% of aggregate marks in the above-mentioned subjects are eligible for admission to the bachelor’s degree. Candidates’ who have completed graduation in the subject opted can apply for PG course.
Application Procedure
The notifications for the admission process for the next year will be published in newspapers or will be put up on the notice boards of the college.
The admission forms are available online or should be bought from the campus directly by paying the prescribed amount.
The candidates’ should fill in the application form and submit it at the administrative department of the campus.
The required attested copies of the documents like medical certificate, conduct certificate, age proof and many more should be submitted along with the filled in application form before the closure of admissions.
The candidates’ will be called for an interview after this.
Facilities @ IRMAS
The College is spread across two functional blocks that house the administration department, laboratories, classrooms, a library, hospital, and a separate block for anatomical studies and practical.
There are modern hi-tech equipments, well-equipped laboratories, Hi-tech clinical labs, an exhaustive Central digital library with numerous books for reference and many more. There are separate hostels for boys and girls.
Hostel facilities for male and female students are provided with all basic necessary facilities which included 24 hour water supply, internet facility, well ventilated and spacious rooms and so on.
Cultural programs (Anugoonj), induction (Abhinandan) and orientation programs, performances and competitions are organised providing opportunities to explore their creative talents and social skills of the students.
With the help of various social service and voluntary organizations, the college conducts regular rural heath check up camps and awareness campaigns. The students undergo training in leading hospitals at Delhi like UCMS, GTB hospital and many more.
Student's Life at IRMAS
The students’ here were provided opportunity to take part in activities where they can enhance their knowledge, talent, and skill sets at conferences and journals.
The Students were given the opportunity to work side by side with their faculty members which allowed them greater exposure to clinical procedures by practicing their skills at the hospital as well conducting free health check up camps for people in rural areas.
The syllabus provided here was is in-depth yet concise and the teaching faculty was good.
